Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. -Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
A healthy Christian marriage flourishes when husband and wife see themselves as partners working together in God’s purpose. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that “two are better than one,” because when one falls, the other is there to help lift them up. In marriage, teamwork means sharing responsibilities, supporting one another’s strengths, and facing challenges side by side with humility and grace. As couples learn to serve each other and move in the same direction, their relationship becomes a stronger reflection of Christ’s love and faithfulness.
